What's your background?
I studied history and neuroscience and now write about the history of science — and adjacent topics — on the internet. Some ideas I have thought deeply about include the epistemics of aesthetics in science, public health in the developing world, and the emergence of modern science in the twentieth century.
What's it like to do your work at Analogue?
Reading deeply, appreciating serendipity, and regularly learning from the most wonderful group of people.
What did you almost become instead?
A history of science PhD student.
